You are allowed to imagine a life you haven't yet learned how to live.
The Myth and Becoming Approach
Fantasy. Archetypes. Imagination. Embodiment.
What if the stories you love could help you discover the parts of yourself you have yet to meet?
Perhaps you find yourself drawn to the fierce heroine who refuses to be diminished, the woman who trusts her desires, the rebel who questions everything she has been taught, or the character who discovers a power she never knew she possessed.
Maybe you have wondered what it would feel like to move through the world with that kind of freedom, confidence, creativity, or self-trust.
There is something compelling about the worlds we escape into and the characters whose journeys stay with us. Sometimes, the stories we love awaken something we recognize but haven't fully explored in ourselves. They give shape to possibilities we may not yet know how to imagine for our own lives.
Myth & Becoming is a fantasy-inspired approach to self-discovery that brings together archetypes, imagination, creativity, and embodiment to explore who you are, who you might become, and what you want to bring into your life.
Because the stories that move us can become more than stories. They can become invitations to discover ourselves differently.
Beyond the Story
I believe imagination can open doors that self-reflection alone sometimes cannot.
We become familiar with the identities we carry, the roles we play, and the ways we have learned to navigate the world. We know how to be the dependable one, the peacemaker, the achiever, the caretaker. We develop patterns that help us belong, feel safe, and move through life.
And sometimes, those familiar ways of being leave little room to explore who else we might be.
What happens when you give yourself permission to imagine beyond what you already know?
What might you discover if you could explore your desires without immediately questioning them, experiment with a different way of expressing yourself, or get curious about the parts of you that have been waiting for more room?
Fantasy offers a rich landscape for this exploration. Its heroines, rebels, lovers, seekers, rulers, and wild-hearted characters invite us into encounters with courage, vulnerability, power, longing, transformation, and possibility.
Rather than simply asking what a character's story means, we can become curious about what that character awakens in you.
What draws you closer? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you admire, envy, resist, or long to experience?
The answers are not predetermined. Your imagination becomes a space where you can explore possibilities and discover what feels meaningful to you.
Exploring Archetypes & the Many Selves Within
Archetypes offer creative lenses through which we can explore different dimensions of ourselves.
The rebel. The lover. The creator. The sovereign. The seeker. The wild one. The wise woman. The shadow.
These are not boxes to fit yourself into, identities you must embody, or ideals you need to live up to. They are invitations to curiosity.
Perhaps the rebel invites you to question an expectation you have always followed. The lover might open a conversation about pleasure, desire, intimacy, and receiving. The sovereign might bring you into a deeper exploration of boundaries, agency, and what it means to shape a life that belongs to you.
You might discover a part of yourself that feels familiar, one you have learned to hide, or one you have never considered giving space to before.
Together, we can explore the qualities and possibilities that resonate with you, the parts you feel drawn toward, and the ones you may want to understand more deeply.
There is no ideal archetype to become. No single version of a powerful, free, or fully expressed woman to emulate.
The intention is not to tell you who you are. It is to create more room for you to discover who you can be.
From Imagination to Embodiment
Imagining a different way of being is one thing. Experiencing it is another.
You might envision a version of yourself who trusts her instincts, expresses her desires, takes up space, creates without needing approval, or feels more at home in her body. But what happens when you begin to explore those possibilities beyond the mind?
This is where embodiment becomes central to the Myth & Becoming approach.
Through guided imagination, reflective inquiry, movement, sensory exploration, creative expression, and other experiential practices, we can begin to explore what these possibilities feel like in your body and how they might translate into your everyday life.
What happens when you experiment with taking up a little more space?
What do you notice when you allow yourself to move without performing or getting it right?
What might it feel like to express a desire, honor a boundary, follow your curiosity, or make a choice from a place of greater self-trust?
We approach these explorations with curiosity rather than pressure. You don't have to force yourself into a new identity or turn every insight into an immediate action. Instead, we create space to notice what emerges, what feels authentic, and what you want to carry forward.
Fantasy reminds us that another world is imaginable. Embodiment invites us to explore what becomes possible in this one.
Reclaiming Your Main Character Energy
Main character energy isn't about being exceptional, becoming the center of attention, or turning your life into a performance.
It's about remembering that you have a voice in your own story.
It's the difference between living entirely in response to expectations and beginning to make choices that reflect your values, needs, desires, and curiosity. It's recognizing where you have handed your agency over to other people, familiar roles, or stories about who you're supposed to be, and exploring what it might mean to participate more consciously in your own life.
Together, we can explore what it means to take up space in ways that feel true to you, honor your boundaries, follow your creative instincts, and make room for the experiences that bring you alive.
You don't have to become fearless. You don't have to know exactly what you want. You don't have to transform into an entirely different person.
You can begin with a question, a curiosity, a small experiment, or a willingness to imagine something beyond what has felt possible before.
Your story is not something you simply have to follow. You can participate in shaping what comes next.
What We Might Explore Together
Every journey will be different, shaped by your interests, curiosities, and the questions you bring. Depending on what feels meaningful to you, our exploration might include:
Fantasy, Myth & Storytelling
Exploring the worlds, stories, and characters that capture your imagination, and discovering what they might reveal about your values, desires, longings, and sense of possibility.
Archetypes & Identity
Using archetypes as creative lenses to explore different dimensions of yourself, including the parts that feel familiar, the parts you have tucked away, and the parts you are curious to discover.
Desire, Creativity & Self-Expression
Making room for what draws you in, what brings you alive, and what you want to create or experience, without immediately filtering it through expectations about who you should be.
Embodiment & Experimentation
Bringing imagination into the body through movement, sensory awareness, guided imagery, and other experiential practices that allow you to explore new possibilities rather than simply think about them.
Agency & Everyday Life
Exploring how your discoveries might influence your choices, relationships, boundaries, creativity, and the ways you want to show up in the world.
You don't need to be an avid fantasy reader, know anything about mythology, or consider yourself creative to begin. You only need some curiosity about what might be waiting to be discovered.
Your Story Is Still Unfolding
There may be parts of you that have been waiting for more room.
Parts that want to create, explore, desire, lead, rest, take risks, soften, speak, or step into the unknown.
You don't have to know in advance which parts belong in your future. You don't have to discard who you have been or have a clear picture of who you want to become.
You can begin by getting curious. By imagining. By experimenting with what feels possible. By discovering what happens when you give yourself permission to explore.
I created the Myth & Becoming approach for women who want to move beyond understanding themselves and begin experiencing themselves differently. Women who feel drawn to imagination, story, and the possibilities that emerge when creativity meets embodied experience.
You are allowed to imagine a life you haven't yet learned how to live.
The story isn't finished. You are still becoming.
Explore who you are. Imagine who you could become. Embody the possibilities.
