You don’t have to become someone new to discover more of who you are.
The Rooted Approach
Coming home to yourself is not about becoming someone new. It is about creating space to discover who you are, reconnect with what matters to you, and live in ways that feel more fully your own.
My approach brings together self-understanding, embodied exploration, and meaningful connection. I believe insight can open the door to change, but transformation deepens when we begin to experience ourselves differently in our everyday lives.
The Three Pillars of My Approach
1. Understanding the Disconnection
My approach begins with curiosity about the experiences, protective patterns, cultural expectations, and inherited stories that shape our relationships with ourselves.
Together, we can explore where you may have learned to override your needs, quiet your desires, struggle with boundaries, or disconnect from your body. Rather than judging the ways you have learned to navigate the world, we can seek to understand them and consider whether they still support the life you want to live.
2. Reclaiming Embodied Wisdom and Power
I believe we each hold an inner wisdom that can become easier to hear when we have space to slow down, listen, and reconnect with ourselves.
Together, we can explore your values, preferences, needs, desires, boundaries, and creativity. We can make room for questions around identity, sexuality, pleasure, body image, changing seasons of life, and the messages you have received about who you are supposed to be.
My intention is not to prescribe who you should become, but to create space for you to discover what feels authentic, meaningful, and alive for you.
3. Embodiment as a Lived Practice
I believe understanding ourselves is meaningful, but insight alone does not always change how we experience our lives. Embodiment offers an opportunity to move beyond understanding and begin practicing new ways of relating to ourselves.
Together, we can explore body awareness, breath, movement, sensory experiences, creative expression, imagination, and other experiential practices that support a deeper relationship with your body and inner experience.
The goal is not to achieve a perfect state of embodiment. It is to cultivate an ongoing practice of listening, responding, and returning to yourself with greater curiosity and compassion.
What Enriches My Approach
My approach is also informed by the wisdom and rhythms of nature, the possibilities opened through imagination and storytelling, the meaning of life's transitions, and the support that can emerge when women witness and encourage one another.
I see these as meaningful doorways into self-discovery. Nature can remind us that growth happens in seasons. Stories and archetypes can help us imagine possibilities beyond the identities we have known. Life transitions can invite us to reconsider what matters, while connection with other women can help us feel less alone as we explore who we are becoming.
These elements bring creativity, depth, and a sense of aliveness to my approach to self-discovery and embodiment.
The Seven R's of Rooted
The Seven R's offer a framework for the journey of reconnecting with yourself. They are not steps you must complete in order, but interconnected experiences we may move between as we grow, discover, and change.
Recognizing
We begin by noticing the stories, expectations, and patterns that have shaped your relationship with yourself. Together, we bring awareness to where you are now, without judgment.
Releasing
We explore the beliefs, expectations, and protective strategies that may no longer serve you. Together, we make room to loosen your grip on what you have outgrown while honoring why those patterns may have developed.
Revealing
We create space to discover what lives beneath the expectations and familiar roles. Together, we explore your values, preferences, needs, desires, creativity, and the parts of yourself that may have had little room to emerge.
Reawakening
We deepen your connection with your body, senses, and inner experience. Through curiosity and exploration, we begin to notice what you feel, what brings you alive, and what your body may be communicating.
Reconnecting
We nurture your relationship with yourself, the natural world, supportive relationships, and the experience of being witnessed and understood by others.
Reclaiming
We explore how to honor your agency through the boundaries you set, the choices you make, and the ways you begin to shape a life that reflects what matters to you.
Radiating
We bring what you are discovering into your everyday life. Together, we explore how your growing self-trust, creativity, and sense of aliveness can influence your relationships, decisions, and the way you move through the world.
You may find yourself returning to certain R's at different points in your life. This is not a linear process, and there is no single way it is supposed to unfold. I offer this framework to support your exploration, not to give you another set of expectations to meet.
Coming Home, Again and Again
I see coming home to yourself as an ongoing relationship rather than a destination. There will be seasons of discovery, moments of uncertainty, and times when you feel deeply connected to yourself, alongside times when you need to find your way back.
My hope is to offer a space where you can explore who you are with curiosity, reconnect with your own wisdom, and practice living in ways that feel more fully your own.
Begin your journey within. Deepen your roots. Reclaim your aliveness.
